best address/email to complain?
Follow up to my post above -
Just got off the phone with the Prestige line about getting credit for ORD-IST-ORD. Booked on UA codeshare in W class, which I'm told maps to G class on TK. This earns no mileage.
I was told by three different Aeroplan agents that it would indeed get me 100% mileage. I figured they were wrong, but pleasantly surprised to hear it. I was told, and quoted to, that because I was booked on the UA* flight, it would count as a UA flight and therefore earn 100%, basically disregarding that it was operated by TK.
I argued with a supervisor for about 15 minutes and "the best she could do" was 1000 miles, rather than the 10,000+ status miles that I needed to make Elite this year.
Total garbage! I am not responsible for properly-trained staff. I understand that Aeroplan has to pay TK for the miles and if they dont want to grant them based on fare class, then that's a TK decision. But this is an Aeroplan problem and I want to be compensated with the status miles that I was told I would get.
She directed me to the 'contact us' section of the website - anyone have a better email/phone/address to try and get what I want?
