I guess I will ask about how long the bus takes when I get over there, anything over 45 mins would be way too long. since if all works out that means 1 1/2 hrs vs LE at 35 mins
Oh sorry. The train to Termini. Known as LE in English, I guess. That train is about 30 minutes. Its not the Heathrow Express or anything, but its the best you're going to get in Rome. Add on about 5-10 to take the metro to Barberini, or a simple 15 minute walk there.
I would think the regional rail train + more time on the Metro would be a bit longer than the LE + short walk or short metro ride.
