After missing status by just a few miles (unknowingly) last year... I was committed to and successful in early qualifying for AC*E this year.... While I'm still trying to decide whether to run on for SE or UA 1P, but thats another discussion.

I noticed online that my welcome waggon had been mailed and it has arrived today, a week later^.

...heres where eliteness lost its lustre...

Pulling the very readers digest like envelope from my mailbox I noticed it was open. Not maliciously ripped/torn open, just open... like it had never been sealed. Inside, the contents were also less than elite. Thus, I sit here posting this, basking in my eliteness after reading my welcome letter (Thanks, Ben) and making various shapes out of the luggage tag straps (an attempt to distract myself from the pain induced by Aeroplan's hold music (or so I tell my self after a long day)). I will have to wait until "issue management" can send a new package to enjoy the rest of my eliteness as the coupon book, luggage tag and whatever else come in the welcome package are missing!

Hope the other early qual'd former status virgins have better luck!
