Use Mile & More to fly with Germanwings

Miles & More members will soon have even more opportunities to spend an extra day or two visiting their favorite European city. Starting December 1, when Germanwings becomes a new airline partner in Lufthansa’s frequent flyer program, Miles & More, participants in the program will also be able to exchange award miles they have earned to-date for award flights with Germanwings.

Germanwings offers flights to Split, Croatia; Barcelona; Salzburg, Austria; Rome and Mykonos, Greece – just to name a few of the 70 attractive destinations the low-cost carrier flies to. Miles & More members can take off to domestic German destinations for just 25,000 award miles. For 30,000 miles, they can fly to other destinations in Europe, while Fly Smart awards can be booked for just 15,000 miles. The awards mentioned above apply to round-trip flights. One-way awards are not available. Germanwings flights depart from several German airports, including Cologne, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg and Dortmund.
