Just to follow up. I called the toll free number (801-468-4000) to check on my Marriott Rewards account, and it reports that I have 15,000 points, so I guess that the online web site lags the actual posting of the miles.
I still don't know if those points will get converted to American Airline miles and sent to AA; hopefull it will, as that is how my Marriott Rewards account is set up. If it does get converted, I don't know what the conversion rate will be. I know that you get 3 miles for each dollar spent at the hotel, but I don't know how these timeshare tour bonus points will be treated.
