My wife and I took a timeshare tour and presentation at the Maui Marriott Ocean Club a month ago. They were really pushing them everywhere you looked and so we took the bait. I have been to these type of things before and have no interest in "vacation ownership" so we politely listened for 2 hours and then said no thanks. We got our little certificate saying that 15,000 Marriott Rewards points would post to our account in the next day and its been a month and no points. Anyone else have this problem? Also, if I am set up to earn American Airline frequent flyer miles instead of points for hotel stays, how will these 15,000 miles be handled if in fact I actually get them?
