With AOT you get a comfy car, don't have to fork up baht for the tolls and know the driver will take the most direct way because he has an incentive to get you there asap rather than looping in circles.
My thoughts exactly, and the reason I always use the AOT limos. I had a few hairy experiences with lunatic taxis drivers, one
really close call at high speed, and that was enough. I'd rather pay the extra and relax.
I used them again this weekend, but they wouldn't allow me the discount as I was being dropped off at the Hyatt and collected from the SGS. They accepted it at first but when they gave me the paperwork they also had down collection from Hyatt. When the trainee got a colleague over she said collection had to be from the same place as drop off.
The slightly annoying thing is, another FT'er who I met up with on Friday managed to get the discount with a drop off at the IC and collection from Hyatt.
I notice they now have a new Isuzu car available for the cheaper rate of THB 950 each way.
