Please be gentle first post !!

My husband has 60,000 and I have 20,000 onepassmiles. We are going to be travelling Gla ~ Ewr ~ Las return in January 2010 and wanted to use the miles + fees to upgrade to BF.

We did this last year and paid the fee to transfer miles from my husbands a/c to mine. However, several weeks later during a conversation with a Co customer service rep, they advised that my husband didn't need to transfer the miles to me, they could have allocated his miles to my account.

Can anyone confirm that this is the case or have I misunderstood them.

I did read the Co sticky, but couldn't find any info, (sorry if I have missed it .)
