You might be lucky enough to get someone to "guest you and your husband" into the Qantas Club - aka, QP - "Qantas Pub" where you can have a shower + coffee and relax there?

I don't really understand the threads. Some seem to post their flights but they say the "guest" spot is taken (I don't think it was edited)...and that they are a "guest" themselves, etc. So why do they post?
I thought you were only permitted to bring ONE person with you...for any/all of these clubs.
This is very excited....I do see a Oct 30 10:30-11:30 on that board for SYD, but we land @ 7:30--have no clue how long it takes to get bags, go through customs/quarantine....but ahhhh....would that be wonderful welcome to Australia!!!!!
If we did find someone, would they have to be there the entire time with us? I wouldn't mind, but it would be inconvenient for them--for sure.
Our flight from SYD to BNE is at 11:05....so I guess I just post this information on that site...I always feel funny asking for favors like this...it's just something I'm not use to doing. Do you typically offer them ($$) in exchange...just a token of appreciation.
Help me out here fellows/gals....I would LOVE to make this happen but talk about being GREEN!!!!!!
