I understand ACs profit motivation. But I am sure you would also find the sudden cancellation of these TWO flights frustrating if you were in my shoes. The reason I am SE and not 1K is that my head office is in Toronto so I need to be there often as well. At the moment my clients are on the east coast, but typically they are in Canada.

As I mentioned, I could switch to UA or even god forbid AA, but I find AC to be a far superior carrier. And stranding over 200K Q miles is not very appealing

I am not condemming AC for this, I just find it a surprising move. If they do not have enough demand to justify even one A320, they must have been running the 767 AND the 320 virtually empty for the past year. Again, thiss may well be the case, I am just surprised the demand is not there.
Oh well, maybe after the next provincial election more business travellers will actually want to fly out here. lol
