Interesting. When I stayed at a Sheraton, they originally credited half the points (ie. 750) for my stay, compared to the usual Qantas amount. When I contacted them and questioned it, they told me it was a processing error and it become the usual 1500. (not bad for a one-night stay)
And, they have kept me at Gold level again, even though they don't know I've stayed at any of their hotels in the last year.
