I think this is what the various people at ATL were not clearly explaining. You could get it from your flight's gate, once "gate control" has taken place and the gate agent had complete access to the flight.
Don't forget that ANY gate can print you a boarding pass for ANY flight departing that destination... we've just in the last few months been enabled to print BP's up to 24 hours prior to departure as well

:-: Be careful doing that, if they look an see that you're still in "RS" (reserved seat, as opposed to CV/CI when you've OLCI'd or APCI'd, respectively) status it could raise a red flag (speaking from experience here). But in the same respect, they should see that you were "on" those last few flights, because they don't fall off your PNR right away.
