It's
marginally more comfortable. You'll already be in a seat with 34" pitch (which is 2-3 inches more than a lot of domestic carriers), so the extra legroom might not make a difference to you at that point.
I'm 6'2", and for a flight that length, I'd rather find something else to blow 50 bucks on.
