Given the collapsed Pounds I do enough shopping in London, so I wouldn't be doing a lot of shopping but your comments about day trips etc are steering me towards spending more time at Muscat.

Would Abu Dhabi (2 clear days), Dubai (2 clear days), Muscat (5 clear days) and Petra (1 clear day) be an appropriate schedule, or should some of the locations extended or shortened?
