50 baht an hour is not a bad deal for a personal "chauffeur," but riding around Bangkok all day in a tuk tuk would be hell for me. I don't mind tuk tuks for short trips in places like Chiang Mai but, as glennaa11 has already noted, taxis and comfortable rapid transit are just too easy to find in Bangkok.
