I am quite tempted to visit Muscat and Abu Dhabi actually, and your recommendations have added to that thought. Would Dubai be worth including in the trip as well? Neither of us have been outside the airport at Abu Dhabi or Dubai (and never even been to Muscat airport).

CW sale will indeed be handy.
