I know they have metal knives for non-Australia premium classes. Thank goodness for that, too.
This regulation is so stupid as you can pick-up a Metal knife at LHR T4 after security, in a Restaurant or Lounge and carry it on board your Qantas flight.
I agree that it is stupid.
Seems the rest of the world got over the Metal Knives paranoia some years ago but the brave Ozzies are terrified of them for some reason.
However they will give you a complementary Razor complete with 2 Ultra Sharp Blades you can Super Glue to your Plastic Knife to slit somebodies throat in a second.
I suppose it just shows that aviation security can be a bit of a farce.
