Thanks. I'm already familiar with PTS. We have two Amex PPCs, and try to get maximise our Tesco Clubcard points from normal shops. Good luck to those pulling in loads of Tesco CC points from selling phones on ebay, but I'm not sure I have time for all that. The calculation that matters for me is the price of flying to Oz in CW (fully paid) versus the 'price' of scraping together enough BA miles to do it as a redemption.

Accept availabilty may turn out to be the killer in the end. In that case, we can still blow the miles on a 241 to Vegas or somewhere like that, so not completely wasted.

Totally agree about selling phones, it is like having a part time job, but I feel im getting my airmiles at a heavy discount so its worth it. We need 225,000 ba miles to allow four of us to go to mumbai in dec 2010 CW, will be using the amex 241,and an mfu to do it, should hit my target by dec this year and trigger the 241 early next year. We did mumbai last december and availability was good.

If you are doing on line shops dont miss the 750 pointers that are floating around, the latest one expires early november, all info is on pts.
