Isn't late 2010/early 2011 when the next Ashes tour of Oz is taking place? If I'm right, that isn't going to help the already poor award availability.

Personally, I think that the mileage redemption levels to SYD aren't great value anyway so buying miles just adds to the already overall high expenditure. Each to their own though.
