Being an economist, I'm all for "grounded in economics" explanations, but I don't think that really explains why AF makes available seats at low mileage, but DL does not. I can understand if the number of seats would be very limited this far out, I just find it objectionable that I'm in a DL program and always find the better "deals" through DL on the partner airline.
