The mattress company owner's friendship with JW Marriott must be very special, as JW has been dead for a number of years now. I myself have had only one really bad night in a Marriott in many years of platinum membership, and have never thought the mattresses uncomfortable. Maybe I missed the worst of them, or maybe I am just not as sensitive to those things. If it really bothers one, one should not spend 80 nights a year at a Marriott.
