A challenge is when they will agree to an earlier UG in status, say for MR, if you'll put in, for example, 20 nights over the next 2 month period to get Marriott MR Gold status rather then the usual annual requirement!

I have not heard of them doing this for Plat status incidentally, but others may correct me if I'm wrong!
