I saw this thread and felt I had the "winner" with my experience a few weeks ago only to see that my experience was at the same airport as the OP. I had actually just exited baggage claim in CAN and was about to start a two hour drive with a business partner. I saw a nice looking coffee shop just after exiting baggage claim and offered to buy us a cup of coffee for our journey. I was utterly shocked to see what they wanted to charge. Next time there is a McDonalds about 200 feet down the corridor.
