I think I'll looked up on this, stopover allowed on domestic gateway only for NA to Eupope, South America, Asia ticket. I think the only reason I got this approval was the lack of another first class option or even business class option. I think I had 2 options to choose for her, Y CX direct YVR-HKG, or F CX YVR-JFK-HKG. 67.5 is one-way yes but way better 110K asia mile for a one-way F JFK-HKG. Thanks AA board!
