Their replies have been very positive about "future" service, but we all know that CO just doesn't have any widebodies to spare. If the 787's had been delivered as originally scheduled, CO would have been able to start more non stop service to europe out of IAH.
Doesn't CO also have direct flights w/ equipment change IAH-FCO/FRA (irrelevant 11/1)? And didn't an article a couple of years ago state, once the 787's arrive, CO would probably launch IAH-FRA/FCO or MXP/MAD? There's your answer, probably. I wish Statoil was constantly shuttling employees between Houston and Oslo...that would be a nice flight, too.
