The Terms and Conditions also make it clear that the old awards (such as the 713) can be ordered until July 31 and will be valid for one year from the date of issuance, rather than two years as has been the case for some recently issued 713 awards.

The expiration date doesn't really matter for miles deposited in an airline FF acount, but it will for the hotel certifiacte.
