There's usually not much to see out the window because the flights are up above 35,000 feet. There are some interesting desert and mountain regions that might be seen in good weather but getting an aisle seat is usually a better bet - more room on one side and no tripping over people to go to the washroom. (Aside: My experiences with Westjet have been that they are like Air Canada trying to be like Southwest but not getting fully into it. I could go on but until Southwest comes to Canada, it's either Westjet as they are or go to BUF for the real thing.)
