As a matter of fact, my order from 10/16 has been on hold ever since. I call the mint and they have no idea. I have called too many times apparently because they have a note on file that they are supposed to transfer me to headquarters. The transfer never goes through and I hang up each time after 10min. I call amex and they say they have the authorization showing up and they approve, so its not an issue from their end like I have encountered from the past.

Do you have older orders of coins that shipped? If so, go through your orders and ensure you were charged for each one. If they didn't get payment for one of the shipments (either they failed to charge your CC or your CC rejected the funds after they had shipped the coins), they will hold future shipments until they are paid for what you already have. I went through this this week bouncing between Customer Service, HQ and Accounting before accounting was able to solve the problem.
