Starwood Hotels and Resorts reports that Chinese enrollment in its rewards program has jumped 50% since last year.

The rapid growth has given China the fourth-largest base of active members in the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) program, behind the U.S., Canada and the U.K.............................

Largest redemptions are in Hong Kong and a few other Chinese cities........upgrades could get tougher.
