Live TV would not possible on BA because there isn't a single satellite with a footprint to cover BA's short-haul network. Also rights issues would make it very difficult to offer UK TV channels in the air. Channels would be limited to the likes of CNN, Bloomberg etc. In flight WiFi would be a much better investment.
