It is funny, but one does get a rather warm and tingly feeling upon seeing a BA aircraft (yes, even the blumin 777s!) when in a far away land. Reminders of home I guess. What is strange though is that I only get that feeling with BA, never with Virgin or even bmi. Some brands just seem to symbolize a lot more than a "private company".

And I still remember a F crew member who burst out laughing when after a few months in a pork-free region, the first thing I asked for onboard (at 2am local!) was a bacon buttie!
