The Renaissance Wailea was wonderful during my ten-day stay last year. We had a super time and the food was fantastic. Also, I found the resort's staff to be incredible and very helpful.

We stayed in an ocean-view room with a beautiful view of the water and the hotel grounds. We also attended one of the hotel's luaus and found the food served at the luau to be incredibly plentiful and delicious!

As far as the beach is concerned, I generally drive to Makenna's beaches anyway so I did not spend any time on the resort's beach.

All in all, I would not hesitate to stay at this property again and am actually looking forward to my next stay in a couple of months.
