I don't have any personal knowledge of the hotel - I stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club last February, and also checked out the Hyatt, which are generally regarded as the two nicest hotels on the Island.
But from the Radisson web site, it sounds nice - and brand new. I didn't find the service to be anything great at the Marriott - so I suspect that a nice, new suite at the Radisson will beat a standard room at the Marriott! I note that on the Radisson reservation site it lists a variety of suites: "Aruba Jr. One Room Suite-Gardenview" at $465/nt; "Aruba 2 Room Suite-Oceanview" at $780/nt; "Bonaire 2 Room Suite-Oceanview" at $530; and "Curaco 2 Room Suite-Oceanview" at $605. Which suite are they putting you in? Remember the Vacation Club has a whirlpool - so why not insist on the suite with a whirlpool!
