We got back last week and our outbound Oct 2nd was full in CW,but our inbound was only about half full in CW. The purser on our HKG>>LHR said every LHR>>HKG was so full that they were "leaving pax behind" but HKG>>LHR not so busy. I think there were trade fairs starting as we left so that may explain the apparent one way traffic.
As an aside we thought our LHR >>HKG was the best flight we'd ever had despite the very full cabin.
