Well the showers are not in the lounge, they are between GF and CCR. It's a very strange position and if you're cocky enough you can use them regardless if you're eligible or not. You can always say that you're a guest to a SCH or GCH.
That should not be the case and if it is the staff there are not doing their checks correctly. The main lobby of the lounges is as much a part of the lounges as a hotel lobby is a part of a hotel.
