This sounds like inaccurate information. Most Platinum members, like me, seem to have received the 15 nights/30000 points offer, which is apparently the richest one.

I wondered (in another thread) if the offer had anything to do with your unused Marriott point balance. When you have hundreds of thousands of unused points, you aren't very much motivated by piddling offers.
