I agree. While not JFK I just booked LAX-CDG on AF and AF was the ONLY choice to get to AMS on a low award from LAX. I turned it into a Paris Amsterdam combo holiday and it was a total of 100k miles and $250 USD in taxes, fees and the RT CDG-AMS. Great deal.
