And I was confused by this earlier - the "Waldorf" Hilton London - that's the name, as a fellow ftalker was so kind to point out to me, not the brand.

It is a Hilton, just happens to be called Waldorf, is NOT a "Waldorf-Astoria" brand hotel. If you go to the WA website, it is not listed.

So, yeah: HHONORS preferences apply the same as Hiltons because it IS a Hilton.

I just booked a few days mid-Nov there, looking very forward to checking it out. As a Diamond, I assume exec lounge and room upgrade will be coming, we'll see. There's an annual street parade just in front of it (Lord Mayor's Day, apparently a big thing), with fireworks over the Thames the night we get in. Serendipitous timing, no?
