I don't get this option on the German site - whether I search by price or by date, I always only get a list of flights for the dates selected. Is there anything I'm missing?
The multi-day grid always only works if the entered airport of departure is in the country of the website through which you're booking.
For example:
.NL site, AMS depature: grid
.NL site, FRA depature: no grid
.NL site, CDG departure: no grid
.DE site, AMS departure: no grid
.DE site, FRA departure: grid
.DE site, CDG departure: no grid
.FR site, AMS depature: no grid
.FR site, FRA depature: no grid
.FR site, CDG departure: grid
I'm guessing they set it this way to make these "arbitrage" bookings more difficult for those who do not know precisely what they are looking for.
