I don't know... Wouldn't it make more sense to pick up a good wine at the duty free? I'd read up a little during the flight and what is good. Then pick up the wine on your way home. This way you are unencumbered and can stroll around in the city for sightseeing without lugging around 2kg in wine.
The shops will be closed but the cafes and museums will be open. Tourist office might be open, too.

Have to agree there - usually the Duty Frees sell a few Weil Rieslings (blue labels, about 11€ per bottle), which is probably the best wine you could hope for from the region.
