WOW be Marriott's treatment of their best customers. I have over 1.2 million points total with Marriott. But to get any consideration, I have to earn Elite status each year with the required nights stays. Otherwise, I am treated as any beginner. Not traveling as much and due to the attitude I have experienced (like at the LAX MARRIOTT), I have stayed at the Hyatt and Hilton some. In other words, there is no recognition for loyalty without requalifying yearly. So when you you go to use the points, you are a stranger!
