I just got my 'new' membership kit in the mail. No longer am I just Club Marquis Platinum, I'm now Marriott Rewards Platinum The good news (for me) is that my current status runs all the way till Jan 1, 2002. The bad news is they dropped rolling year qualification for standard calendar year qualification.

The new Platinum cards look a lot nicer than the garish yellow ones before. In fact, it's similar to my USAirways Chairman's Preferred card in color, so they are all one happy family in my wallet <grin>
