10K/100K Promotion: Definition of "Round Trip"

Hi All,

I just called the PE Line but they said to call back when the clerical people are in the office (6 AM- 7 PM M-F). I am wondering if any of you might have some insight:

For the targeted promotion that gives some elites 10K extra miles per "round trip" flight up until 10 flights (through year's end), what is the definition of "round trip?" Does it only mean a classic round trip, i.e. JFK-LAX-JFK or might it include a routing like JFK-LAX, SFO-JFK? How about something like JFK-LAX, LAX-PHL?

Thanks for reading!
