Here's one I am genuinely concerned about for tomorrow. It seems Delta did some shuffling of flights, and here's my current itinerary:

DL186 BOS-JFK 229p-400p
DL148 JFK-FCO 450p-755a*

And yes, it still is technically a legal connection. However, I am concerned, because this basically means everything needs to go right to make the connection, and that is a poor assumption at JFK

- I am taking my kids on their first international trip- since gthey are under 10, they will slow us down in getting gate to gate.

- Supposedly, the Boston flight gets into Gate 16, and the FCO flight leaves out of Gate 5. However, I think I have a 50% hit rate of scehduled/actual gate perfromance at JFK, and frankly if we end up at 24 or 25 with the rest of the RJs, we just will not be able to make it.

- Even a 10-15 minute delay into JFK midday will probably force a missed connection.

So I ask: Has anyone made this connection recently, or have a strong feeling that I will actually make it? How early do they close intl flights at JFK (Boston was running 20-30 mins prior to puchback a while back)....

Thanks in advance for your advice.
