I knew they were good foe miles. When I was EXP (1998-2003) the earlier years NetSaver allowed VIP awards. In the later years they were cut out.

AA did announce all fares were good for eVIP's but I was not user of NetSaver was in that bucket of fares allowed to eVIP.
