For the (aware) high dollar business traveler, CR-1s (and even the wide window on 500-milers to some extent) are a nuisance. Fewer seats to upgrade to on that close-in full fare ticket, and sometimes no front-of-the-bus seats to buy at all. I think the change should be good news to UA's highest dollar customers.
