I don't know if this is already public or not, but I just received a letter from Marriott Rewards Service Desk that some Renaissance properties have decided not to participate in Club Marquis.

Well, this letter came after I logged two stays in Hong Kong --- one at New World Renaissance Harbour View and the other at Renaissance Kowloon in November.

Initially, all Renaissance hotels were planning to participate in CM from late Oct.

They told me that my two stays in HKG will not qualify for CM stays.

What an arbitrary way of handling the matter.
