Agree with Cygnet’s well reasoned and thoughtful answer. Ignore all of the “Jump on it” and “Park Hyatt in Paris cost $1,000” replies as these are not necessarily relevant to anyone’s particular situation. Also keep in mind that offers such as these can distort your plans and if taken to the extreme you might find yourself always vacationing (and freezing) in Paris during February to maximize your “savings”.

Now I’m not saying going for FFNs is a bad idea, I’m likely going for 5 or 6 myself… but I applied Cygnet’s wisdom to MY situation and it proved beneficial.
