I would like to setup a bachelor party at an international destination. Something not horribly far away due to time constraints on everyone, but also not anything like Cancun or Cozumel (we're 28-30 year old's, not 19-20......).

Would like to find a place to rent for an extended weekend on the beach maybe with fun activities to do around and a night scene to go to as well. Would be nice to have a gentleman's club around, but not a deal breaker without it. Probably looking at Labor Day weekend 2010.

I have been mostly toying with the idea of Panama City, Panama. I have not been and neither have any of the guys. With AA it would be 32.5-35k miles round trip and seems to be lots of availability. Flights are about 7-8 hours including layover, which isn't horrible. I think that it would have nightlife and activities like scuba/surfing/zip that would make for a great extended weekend.

Other options include:

Cost Rica (I've been there though)
Venezuela (Caracas?)
Peru
Ecuador
Somewhere caribbean to do fishing and other activities but also has night life (Dominican Republic?)
Mexico (would entertain somewhere like Cabo, but i'm sure all of us have been to Mexico)


So any suggestions?
