I always charge stuff to my room to get any dollar based bonuses. I especially liked staying at the Hyatt in San Diego earlier this year where I was able to charge tickets to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World to my room allowing two things:

1) Pay with my AMEX card, which neither place accepts (and earn 1 mile/dollar in the process).

2) Get Hyatt GP points for the tickets
